CALEDONIAN Antiques
We are particularly attracted to pieces of authenticity, style, color and charm and believe a Caledonian antique should elicit warm feelings of pleasure as its owner uses and enjoys it for years to come. Caledonian believes that fine reproduction furniture must be worthy of mingling with its
period antique ancestors. Over many years, we have developed a network of special
English workshops which reproduce fine antiques using time-honored methods. They work only with select timbers, superbly handcrafted and skillfully distressed by one man at a bench. They use only pigment-free finishes that bring out the extraordinary beauty of the wood and achieve the look that characterizes antiques. And, because these fine reproductions are exclusively made for Caledonian, they can be further customized to the customer's wishes. Both formal and country furniture are represented in Caledonian collections.
CALEDONIAN CONSIGNMENTS
Caledonian Consignments is a newly founded upper end consignment shop dedicated to quality vintage furniture, charming decorative antiques, accessories and artwork mostly in the English taste. Fine companies such as Arthur Brett, Kittinger and Baker are always well represented. This consignment gallery provides Caledonian customers with opportunities for "trading up" or for selling fine, gently used furniture that no longer serves their needs. The ever-changing stock is in ready-to-go condition at most attractive prices.

Most of Caledonian Consignments' fine vintage reproductions are provided by Caledonian's own long-time North Shore customers, as they trade up to larger homes and Caledonian antiques or size down to town houses and condominiums. Their gently-used furniture is in excellent taste and of the finest quality, representing prestigious furniture makers such as Arthur Brett, Kittinger and Baker.
